If this is your first time attending a GSCA event, this guide will help you get the most out of your conference experience. If you have any questions, contact Tammy Barrett at tammy@giantscreencinema.com

Introduce Yourself

New attendees often tell us how welcoming and supportive the giant screen industry is. All GSCA delegates will be wearing name badges identifying their name, company, and where they are located. Don’t be afraid to introduce yourself and strike up a conversation with other delegates, whether it’s another first-timer or an industry veteran. Career-long business partnerships and friendships have gotten their start at a GSCA event.

Introduce yourself to staff as well. Our name badges will have a “staff” ribbon, and we’ll be at the GSCA registration desk, film screenings, and sessions to answer questions. We love to meet the people we have been e-mailing and calling and make introductions. Our goal is to help you navigate the industry and for you to have a successful event.

Opening Reception – First-Timer and New Member special time!

Be sure to attend the Opening Reception, sponsored by MacGillivray Freeman Films, on Sunday, March 10 from 6:30 – 7:30 pm at the Hilton Universal hotel in the Mandarin AB room. There is a special First-Timer and New Member time from 6 – 6:30 pm so we can welcome you and give you the opportunity to meet GSCA board members, GSCA staff, and other first-timers in a small gathering. We hope you can join us!

Attend Everything!

There are so many benefits to attending the sessions, screenings, and receptions. You will also find that people congregate in the hotel bar at the end of the day. Don’t miss anything! You’ll learn more about the industry, share ideas with colleagues, and establish valuable connections.

We want you to have a great event, so if you have a question, just ask. Contact Tammy Barrett if you have any questions about the event, GSCA, or the industry. You can also find answers to conference frequently asked questions here.

We look forward to seeing you in Los Angeles!
